Augusta Plein Air is over for 2013.

Augusta Plein Air is a fabulous event.  Artist travel from all over to participate.  Canada, California and states all around.  I met 2 very nice women from WI this year.  Very good painters too!  It is like an artist's reunion at Augusta.  You make friends that you share the experience of the event with, only to meet up the next year to do it again.  And it seems it was only yesterday.  The event is so well organized and sponsored and supported by the community, EVERYONE wants to return the next year.  I will share so photos of this years event.  ENJOY.  I already have the calendar marked for next year.

The first day of the event was rainy.

You didn't have to drive far to find old farm equipment to paint.

At the private estate paint out, our host delivered food to us before lunch was 'served'.  I was in a creek bed!

Tammie Dickerson was a runner up for the private estate.

Niles Gordon was a runner up too.

Susan Rogers pastel won the $500 buyers choice award.  

This was the painting I did from a still life I set up in the antique shop.  The theme was 'Aged to Perfection'.

Our Airstream was chosen by a few artist for subject matter for  'Aged to Perfection'.  And she is!

Larry DeGraffe was a runner up.
